Whole Foods Market Rocky Mountain Regional Office

Each region of Whole Foods has a central office and it was time for a move after 12 years in Boulder. The building that was selected was a 3 story brick building that was built around 1910 and then added onto in 1920. It was the Centennial School Supply building originally and has housed many different offices during the past century. We did a complete remodel of the space from taking down walls to refinishing the original floors.  We worked with CHSQA (http://www.cshqa.com) out of Boise, Idaho on the systems and they assisted with the layout.

I was lucky enough to have complete design control of the space and tried to combine a modern aesthetic with pieces that spoke to the age of the building. With most of the fixtures and finishes I selected vintage inspired pieces to give the effect that they had always been there. The millwork, designed and built with Alex Miller at Holtz Custom Wood and Metal (http://www.holtzcustom.com/). The decor and signage was fabricated by SouthEastern Products Inc. (http://www.southeasternproducts.com/)

We worked closely with Elements (http://www.workplaceelements.com/) and Workplace Resources (http://www.wrcolo.com/) to supply and offer support on DIRTT wall systems to divide the space and create offices and Herman Miller for all of the systems furniture. We were able to create many different types of working environments using these vendors and their flexible systems.
